Don Imus – A quick look on his life story
Don Imus was born in Riverside, California and was brought up in a large, sprawling cattle ranch called The Willows near Kingman, Arizona. Imus began his radio career as a Disc Jockey on June 28, 1968 at a radio station called KUTY in Palmdale, California. Before his radio career, he served in Marine Corps for several years.
His show ‘Imus in the Morning’ originated on 66-WNBC-AM in New York City in 1971.
He was married twice and is now living with his second wife Deirde Coleman. Both Deirde and Imus are vegetarians.
